Sonic the Hedgehog Fanfiction

It all started on on sunny morning, sunnier than the average day in good ol' Green Hill Zone, our hero, Sonic the Hedgehog and Tails the fox had returned after delivering the Master Emerald back to Knuckles on Angel Island after Sonic thwarted Robotnik in outer Space atop his Death Egg.

Now the Death Egg had plummeted into the the water's of Emerald Hill Zone and Robotnik has not been seen since, Sonic and Tails definetly know the fight ain't over for sure...

Sonic: Tails, we need to find out what Robuttnik's up to now!

Tails: Yeah, who knows what evil plan he's scheming right now.

So, Sonic Dashed while Tails flew right behind him as they made a journey to find Robotnik's new base.

The first zone our heroes came to was a beautiful, sandy area, filled with newly improved badniks, from Crabmeats to Buzzbombers, welcome to Southern Paradise Zone...

Sonic: Right Tails, be my eye in the sky, I'll make my way on ground level, Robotnik could be here, his nincombot's seem to be anyways.


Tails: Okie Dokie Sonic!


As both Sonic and Tails busted badnik after badnik, there seemed to be no sign of Robotnik.

Tails: Theres no sign of Robotnik anywhere.

Sonic: Don't give up Tails, I have a bad feeling about all of this.

And so, they both speeded off to the next zone...

They arrived in an area not like Southern Paradise Zone, this place had purple rock-like structures, caves, surrounded by what looked like murky-green water, as if it was a pool of seaweed, unfortunately it wasn't seaweed, this place was known as Toxicity Zone.


Tails: This place makes me feel nervous...


Sonic: Stick by me Tails, I wouldn't want to lose you in this place.

Then all of a sudden on a monitor screen nearby...

Robotnik: Well, well, if it isn't the rancid rodent Sonic himself! And that dimwitted side-kick of his...

Tails: DIMWITTED!!!?


Sonic: Cool it Tails, easy to talk big Robuttnik, especially when hiding in a dumpster.

Robotnik: Hohohohohoho, we'll see who's pretty big when I squash you in your tracks, you pesky rodent you!

*monitor fades to black*

Sonic: C'mon Tails, let's show that egg-head who's boss!

The two heroes sped through Toxicity Zone with confidence, focused on finding Robotnik to stop whatever giant scheme he may be hatching at this very second, as each minute passes, Robotnik may be one step closer to finishing his plans...

The two heroes were on they're way to the next zone when they both stopped suddenly, they looked up into the sky to see all brightness gone, as what appeared to be a flying battleship floating through sky, it had a recognisable symbol of Robotnik, Sonic and Tails both looked at each other and knew immediatley that if they wanted to find Robotnik's new base hideout, they would have to get on that ship, so they changed their curse and headed to Tail's workshop, where the Tornado Plane was.

Sonic: Let's do this Tails!

Tails: OKAY! Tornado, GO!!!

And within seconds, they were up in the sky, chasing after Robotnik's flying battleship.

Unfortunatley, minutes later, Robotnik's battleship fired rockets at the Tornado, Sonic pulled Tails out from the cockpit, looked directly at him with confidence and said "Hold on Tails" before jumping from rocket to rocket as they were flying towards the Tornado...

Sonic and Tails both landed on the battleship, but as they landed on the battleships flight deck, their Tornado plane was destroyed in an explosive bombardment of rockets, afterwards they didn't look back.

Meanwhile, Robotnik was proceeding to his base via his battleship with excitement and glee as he believed he got Sonic in the explosion, unaware that Sonic and Tails were on the battleship...

Sonic: Let's go Tails...

Tails: *pulls Sonic back* WAIT!!! Shouldn't we just hangback here until Robotnik lands at his base?
 

Sonic: Bad idea Tails....but what if WE hangback here until Robuttnik lands at his base? 


Tails: .....


A couple hours later, the battleship lands on Robotniks new base, Sonic and Tails escape the battleship while Robotnik heads to his main chambers.

Sonic: Whoa! This is Robotnik's new space? spiffy digs, heh heh

Tails: I have to say, it is quite beautiful, who knew Robotnik had taste? 


Sonic: Where is this base anyways Tails?

*both heroes approach the nearest window*

Tails: It seems...we're in the SKY!!!

Sonic: well...atleast it ain't in space again...


The two heroes made their way to Robotniks main chambers, both heroes could see columns and columns of capsules down a giant narrow corridor, while badniks were bringing in captured animals to be placed within the capsules. Sonic knew there was no time to lose.

Tails: I think I'm going to be sick...


Sonic: We got no time to lose bud, it's time to buzz, cus!


As they made their way through trap after trap, they were determined to put a stop to Robotnik, his schemes and his new base.

*Sonic and Tails break in to Robotnik's main chambers*

Sonic: Give it up Buttnik, save yourself the embarrasment and quit while your behind!

Tails: ...yeah! what he said!


Robotnik: Persistant Rodent, why won't you die!?


Sonic: Why won't you give up?


Robotnik: Touche...either way, your too late in stopping my plans, mwahahahahahaha!!!


Sonic: *facepalms* If I had a ring for everytime I've heard that...


Robotnik: Grrrrr, I'll show you *presses button under desk that traps Tails inside an electrified capsule*

Tails: SONIC!!!


Sonic: Tails! Alright Robotnik, no you've gone too far!


Robotnik: Yeah, well I'm about to take it further...*presses self-destruct button for his new base* ...see you around, Sonic the Rathog, hohohohohohohoho!

Tails: Sonic! HELP!!!


Sonic: Ugh...hold on Tails, I'll think of something...

While looking around Robotnik's main chamber, as the self-destruct is counting down, Sonic finds the button under Robotnik's desk...

Sonic: Here we go!!! *presses button under desk to release Tails from the electrified capsule* Let's get out off here!

Sonic grabs Tails, and immediatley speeds through the base it's falling apart around him, no matter how fast he runs, every exit gets blocked by rubble....

Tails: Sonic, we're not gonna make it!


*Sonic spots a star post out of the corner of his eye*

Sonic: I got an idea...


Sonic uses the star post to enter the Special Zone, he quickly then speeds through the Special Zone before jumping through a giant gold ring, upon which, he appears safely with Tails back at Tails' Workshop, though both heroes are very far from the base, they both hear theexplosion of the base's self-destruction.

Tails: Too bad Robotnik got away...


Sonic: Well, the fight's not over yet, but this time, I'm going alone, I almost got you killed, and I need you here incase I need you to help me by building something to stop Robotnik.

Tails: Okay Sonic, I understand.

Sonic smiles and says to him "I know you do, afterall, your my little buddy" and then speeds off to chase Robotnik once again, next stop, Splash Hill Zone...
